Project Life

I am currently thinking about how I am going to tackle Project Life this upcoming year.   Here is my checklist so far-

I ordered these

I am also going to use some 8.5 x 11 page protectors, because I know the girls will have lots of school papers to save. I got a Selphy printer a few months ago and let me tell you I don’t think I could accomplish PL without it!  I have also pre-stamped some of the journaling cards to have them ready to use. So far I have used lots of Studio Calico kit stamps. I have also been using these Jenni Bowlin stamps a ton! I think they are perfect for PL.
and these are really fun stamps as well, from My Mind’s Eye
I also stocked up at Elle’s Studio when they had their Black Friday sale. I plan on using my Silhouette a lot for this project, they have some really cute designs that are perfect for PL. I created a new folder and will keep all the things I might use there.
I have also started a PL pin board on Pinterest.  I pinned these cards from A Vegas Girl at Heart blog , I love them, just my style!

I  also have a box on a shelf that the kids (and hopefully the hubby) can put any memorabilia that they think could be included in the album. Granted this is my first year doing this, so maybe I am planning this all wrong :) But I need to go into this with a plan and a little bit of organization. I think this is going to be a really fun project to do and I think the kids will love having this snapshot of their lives. And last but not least here is my take on the Sunday Sketch over at Studio Calico

I would love for you to share with me your plans for PL. Have a great day!

WoooHoooo!!!

I got some more fabulous news this past week! I have been chosen for the  Little Yellow Bicycle’s Paradise Cycling Team. If you haven’t seen any sneaks of the new Paradise line, hop on over here. I love the colors, even though it is only December I am already thinking Spring! Head on over to the blog to check out the other talented ladies that were picked up as well. Look for our projects to start popping up on the Little Yellow Bicycle blog in January & February.

I am so not an event or theme scrapper, much more of an everyday moments type of scrapper. I think in all my years scrapping I have done like 1 whole Christmas page. But for some reason this year I have been really drawn to the Christmas pictures.

are you getting tired of the red herringbone paper yet? I still have 3 quarters of a sheet left and am going to stretch it as far as I can :) I. Love. It.

It is almost Christmas…

and we are very excited around here! Since I don’t think we will have snow on Christmas, last night we had to make some of our own.

I am still plugging along on my December Daily, I will post some pages soon. So far I have kept up with it pretty well, only a few days behind.  I have a few pages to share today. The first one is of my poppaw. He is dearly missed by the whole family.

Still some Christmas shopping to do and TONS of wrapping. Every year I swear that I won’t leave the wrapping till Christmas eve, but yet again I did:)  If you want some real Christmas decoration inspiration, please visit my cousin Stephanie’s blog. I have seen her stuff floating around Pinterest. No wonder why, it looks beautiful! So please go here-

Hope you all have a great day!

5) This recipe for enchiladas, it was quite tasty. When I make it again the only thing I would change would be to add more chicken.

Happy Saturday all!

This girl sure does love Thanksgiving…

or at least Thanksgiving dinner. I think Maura ate roughly 3 pounds of potatoes. She has always loved mashed potatoes, but combine that w/ turkey, stuffing and gravy she was in heaven!! She came back to the buffet 3 times. Good for her! She was even in a good enough mood to model the turkey hat for us. She may blame it on a turkey high, whatever it was she sure looked cute!

While I was away…

It has been a bit too long since I was last here. I have been working on a December Daily for the last few weeks. So excited that today is Dec. 1st, I am ready to start filling those pages. Here is the cover, I love the way the white Mr. Huey looks on the Crate Paper wood grain paper, sighhhhhh….

Megan got her glasses today to help correct the amblyopia (lazy eye) that she has. She will probably require a patch at some point and she will be an official member of the glasses wearing club for life. What a great club to join, but she will do fine and she loves her glasses because they are PINK of course!

Here are a few pages that I have done recently, I have been scrapping quite a bit these days and really enjoying it.
OK, well I guess that is enough for one day. I will try not to stay away so long next time!
