and my take on it
have never really been the best of friends. They are almost always butting heads. But for the past few weeks they have slowly been starting to get along, play together, and just like each other in general. You don’t know how happy that makes me!!! For one, I don’t have to listen to them fight as much:) I snapped this photo a few weeks back and haven’t had the idea how to scrap it. I really wanted to, just hit a wall on what to do. Then we had a little challenge over at SC to scrap a photo where the subjects weren’t facing the camera, so I was off!! And here is what I came up with. Was stumped on the title, so I just went right to the point!
and that piece of paper, yeah I need about 101 more pieces!!

I have some inserts as well, stuff from school, Megan’s basketball certificate, Maura’s MAP testing results, papers from visiting the Science Center in “Hamchester” as Emmett called it. I vow to never get that far behind again, it was a tough catch up. Thank goodness I took tons of notes over the past few weeks, or I never would have remembered all the little details.
Some more pages to share
still loving the Daydream Believer kit!! Although I know March is going to best this one, Crate Paper Storyteller was in my top 2 new releases, can’t wait to get my hands on it!!!

and here is my page
I really love this sketch, I think it is my favorite so far!! And the doilies, yep I can’t stop using them and I blame this lady here. Stephanie has inspired me to start using them and now it is a slight addiction! I teased her that I might have to join Doilies Anonymous!! I never ever would have thought that I would be a doily user. Just goes to show that you really need to go outside of your comfort zone every now and then. You just might be surprised what happens
I seriously didn’t think I would love the Feb. Studio Calico kit as much as I do! I thought it would be a bit too pink and girly. Boy was I wrong. I love the pop of color with the bright yellows. So far I have made 5 pages with it and I have had it way less than a week. Here are a few

The last one is about Maura’s favorite books right now. She got the dictionary from school, she thinks it is fascinating. All kinds of fun facts in the back and a sign language chart. She is teaching herself sign language, and she is learning very fast. I love that she is always wanting to learn new things. I hope it is always that way!!
even Princesses have to go pick up their sisters from school. She is such a girly girl. If she could go through life wearing a tutu and a tiara she would. If she never had to wear pants and sensible shoes she would be ecstatic. If everything came with sparkles on it her world would be complete. I already have visions of makeup and prom dresses and hairstyles floating through my mind. Gosh I love this girl, she couldn’t be more different from me, but she is mine.
I have to admit that I lost all of the PL mojo I had
It just wasn’t a fun project, I know, I know only 3 weeks in. I guess I should give it a bit more time. It was hard, 1 page wasn’t enough room, 2 pages too much, I typically don’t scrap 12×12 so I wasn’t feeling it. But then I found something that I am sooo excited about!! I found these page protectors at Staples! Yeah yeah, Martha Stewart, say what you will but she does put out some fine crafts supplies. I love the different shaped pockets, the smaller size. I am in heaven! My plan now is to use these as well as the 12×12 PL page protectors. I like the mix of both, for me PL doesn’t have any rules, just go with the flow.

So how is your PL going???
