This is my favorite time of the year. I love heading in to Halloween and then Thanksgiving with the anticipation of Christmas! I love sweaters & jeans. Cool mornings and nights. Fires in the wood stove. It is just a magical time of the year. Then we hit January, I won’t think about that right now! I am still focused on the leaves and the pumpkins.
I made this page with the October Studio Calico kit Antiquary, one of my faves of the year Lots of the new Printshop stuff in the kits! My friend Shanna really outdid herself designing this collection. Thanks for stopping by!

The older girls started school on Tuesday, 5th & 2nd grades. They were both really excited! The boy started Kindergarten on Wednesday, he had an awesome time! Playing on the playground and the Freeze Dance were the highlights of the afternoon:) Other than that I couldn’t get much info out of him. Hopefully he will have more to share soon. It has been really hot and humid here the past few days, I am really ready for Fall to kick in. Here is a layout of my big 5th grader. She is quickly gaining on me. Yep, she will be taller than me in a few years:)
I used the negative space from a package of Fancy Pants alpha stickers and layered it over some Simple Stories patterned paper. I love the way the letters make for a fun background! Thanks for stopping by today!!
Today I blogged over at Come on Get Crafty. Go check it out!!!
I just love her curiosity, her constant questions. She is always wondering why things are the way they are. There is no gray area for this girl, only black and white. Just the facts, ma’am:) She tells it like it is. And I love her for it!!
I used a few items from the new Studio Calico collection Thataway. It seriously rocks!! The paper might just be in might top 5 ever! and for once I actually used it straight away and didn’t hoard it!!
It has been a very busy Summer. School is just around the corner, almost time to get back to real life. The kids are super excited! The boy starts kindergarten this year, I can’t even believe it!! It makes me a little sad that he won’t be around as much, but I know he will have a blast! and I still have 2 at home to keep me busy We have traveled a lot this summer- 2 trips to Cape Cod, Seattle, Virginia, camps for the kids. This has been a fun summer, the little one turned 3 and it has made things so much easier around the house. She can play and keep up with the big kids and doesn’t need constant supervision. Love it!! I am excited to see what this next phase of our life will bring, I think it is going to be awesome! Another thing that was “So Awesome” was that I got to meet one of my online scrappy friends in real life! I got to meet Tami, she was just as sweet as I imagined her to be We both made layouts (of course!!) to document the occasion. She rocked her layout!! Such inspiration! This was my layout
I would love to have the opportunity to meet some other scrappers. It is great to meet people who love the same things that you do!
